David Bullard builds custom fishing rods and does most of his work on the weekends and nights he is not hunting, “which are not many”. David can build most any type of rod:

The pictures on this board are only some of the rods done by David, mostly of the rods he owns and his family. Some of these rods are over 10 years old. Most of David’s rods are picked up by people and a picture is never taken. Although David enjoy’s making all types of Rods he especially excels in Surf Rods from 6 foot all the way to 13 feet!! David has a special 7-foot Surf Rod that he makes and is his most popular surf rod. You can catch a pinfish on it or land a 40lb Red Drum!!

All the fish on this website were caught on Custom Rods. He can make a rod any color with any color of wrappings on the guides. He only uses Fugi guides and Reel seats. All the rods are hand spun and wrapped by hand, NO Machines. If you would like a custom rod give Dave a call and tell him what you would like. Turn around time on most Rods is 2 weeks to 1 month.
